KATLYN AGOSTA, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CDCES
Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Care and Education Specialist

"You are the expert on you.  My job is to provide support and information to help guide your choices. "

Katlyn Agosta is board-certified autonomous family nurse practitioner, certified diabetes care & education specialist, and proud small business owner of Papaya Primary Care. She lives in Valrico with her husband, their two children, a dog and backyard chickens.

Katlyn's diagnosis of type 1 diabetes guided her to the field of nursing and is what fuels her passion for diabetes management and education. She has firsthand experience with insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring systems since 2002.

The ability to connect on a personal level, laugh with her patients, educate and support individuals on their healthcare journey is why she fell in love with primary care.

Katlyn loves reading fiction, gardening (though her plant life track record is questionable), painting, and playing video games with her family. If you see her working out at the YMCA come say hello!
